PROMOTE will train young and ambitious scientists to combat prostate cancer (PCa) by offering them a comprehensive and inter-sectoral training to change our view on the disease initiation and progression. Thus, young scientists will focus on delivering currently missing knowledge on the molecular pathophysiology of prostate cancer progression, setting up a stage for non-invasive diagnostic and stratification biomarkers for discriminating early stages of prostate cancer, but also molecularly driven novel anti-cancer therapies.
PROMOTE represents a collaborative network with Partners from Greece, Austria, Portugal, Germany and Spain and brings together 13 leading centers from different disciplines, including 3 SMEs, 4 university hospitals and 2 research institutes.
The overarching goal of PROMOTE is to establish an interdisciplinary, intersectoral, and international doctoral training and research programme. Our aim is to foster a new generation of leaders dedicated to advancing personalized treatment in prostate cancer (PCa), emphasizing excellence in research and clinical practice.
PROMOTE is an EU-funded MSCA Doctoral Network under Grant Number (101169245) , coordinated by Mosaiques Diagnostics (Germany).
