Objectives of the training program
PROMOTE aims to:
- educate the doctoral candidates (DC) in emerging -omics and advanced computational technologies
- deliver novel non-invasive tools (based on biomarker-, machine and deep learning models) to guide intervention, and
- introduce more efficient treatment options for advanced PCa (particularly metastatic) driven by molecular characterisation of the disease phenotypes.
The 8 DCs will be hosted across the network, and in addition to conducting an original research study they will participate in a 36-month network-wide training program, public engagement activities and collaboration with network members through planned secondments in European intersectoral partner organisations. PROMOTE will provide enhanced career perspectives in academic and non-academic sectors for the 8 DCs.
The PROMOTE project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Networks - Industrial Doctorates Programme (HORIZON-MSCA-2023-DN-01) under grant agreement No 101169245.
